Fallout Removal
Although the weather here is almost perfect, auto detailing in San Diego can present many challenges. Industrial fallout is far and away the biggest culprit in the aging of your vehicle. With heavy traffic, high industry, and airplanes constantly flying overhead you will notice that your once shiny car simply doesn’t look how it used to. Even after washing and waxing the shine doesn’t last.  If your paint feels rough even after washing, you need a clay treatment. Clay treatments are the most important prep tool a detailer can use. The gas station style detailers don’t do it! Claying of your vehicle removes the fallout embedded in your paint. Removing this before waxing or sealing will not only make your car shine but it will make the shine last. Imagine getting all dressed up for prom night without taking a shower first! The above picture is from 15-20 seconds of rubbing a 10 square inch area on a black Tahoe. Keep in mind that the piece of clay was stark white prior, and this was after washing the truck.
